A machine carves a design in a wood board. The bit appears cone-shaped. The design features a long curved line below a rectangle. Within the design, the bit carves curving floral shapes. Paradise Box Carve on CNC The machine cuts short lines underneath the long curved line. Then adds more detail to the original design. The bit moves lower on the board. It carves short curving lines in a line toward the bottom. On the far side of the board, the machine continues to cut short lines and now moves horizontally across the board. It switches from cutting lines to poking holes in the wood. It then alternates between short lines and holes. The etching appears to mirror the original floral design on the close side of the board. The machine adds more detail to the design on the far side of the board. The the overall design takes shape, it reveals a circle in the center of the board. The bit cuts lines within the circle on all sides. It now punches holes and deeper lines within the circle. The image within the circle depicts petals on a flower. The machine embellishes the design. The bit now adds detail as it moves around the perimeter of the circle. It returns to the inside of the circle and carves more detail into the flower design. The machine makes two passes to carve straight lines around the entire design. The second pass moves in the opposite direction of the first pass.
